8/209 Mill Cottage (Lake Mill)

II Cottage associated with former watermill. C18, much altered early C20 and 1979. Rendered and colourwashed brickwork and thatched roof. Two storeys, 3 bays, with lean-to extension to right, now kitchen. Porch off-centre with boarded door and thatched roof. Small paned early Cl9 metal window to right of entrance, the other windows replaced in metal, C20. Mid wall band moulded, and bearing frieze of strapwork alternating with raised diamonds. Gable stack to left and stack to rear.
