Description

The gate piers to Lake House, dating from the 18th century, are constructed from ashlar limestone with a rusticated finish. They feature a cornice and a block on top that supports raised ball finials. Carved scrolled brackets connect the piers to the top of an adjacent flint wall, which is decorated with ammonites.
