GREEN HILL TQ 75 SE OTHAM (East Side) 3/222 Ivy Cottage 15.3.83 GV II

House. C16, with C17 and later alterations. Timber framed, rendered, with plain tile roof. Right gable end stone to ground floor (returning for a few feet along front elevation), and red brick, largely in header bond, to first floor. Plain tile roof. Built at right-angles to road, with 2 rooms to ground floor. 2 storeys on rendered plinth. Gabled. Red brick gable end stack to left. Irregular fenestration of one 2-light wooden casement to first floor and one 3-light to ground floor to left. 3-light first-floor casement to right gable end. Boarded door with flat hood above plain frieze, slightly to right of centre. Short 2-storey rendered wing projecting forwards from front of left room, with lower ridge, roof half-hipped to front, projecting brick gable end stack on stone base, and one 2-light first-floor casement. Short single-storey addition to left gable end of main range. Interior not inspected.
