Description

Greenhill House is a house dating from the early 19th century, with a late 20th-century extension and conservatory added to the left. It is constructed of evenly-coursed stone, with a slate roof. The house is set at a right angle to the road and has a hipped roof and two brick stacks at the rear. The front elevation has a regular three-window arrangement, featuring recessed 16-pane sash windows with Gothic detailing to the top panes. A similar window is present in the right gable end, the first-floor window being painted. The rear of the house has two parallel ranges with slightly lower eaves; the range nearest the main house features a 16-pane sash window on the first floor and a porch with a half-glazed door and a Gothic glazed fanlight. The interior remains uninspected.
