Description
Greenhill Cottage is a 17th-century house that was originally part of a row of houses. It is timber framed, featuring exposed close-studding with plaster infilling on the ground floor and rendered walls on the first floor. The roof is made of plain tiles and has three timber-framed bays. The building stands two storeys high on a stone plinth and has a continuous jetty. The roof is hipped, and there are projecting brick gable end stacks, with the base of the left stack located within a low stone lean-to. The windows are irregularly arranged, consisting of three leaded casements: two are three-light and one is a central two-light. There are two boarded doors, each accessed by two steps; one is at the right end of the left bay and the other at the right end of the central bay. The interior has not been inspected.
