Description
Numbers 18 and 19 on The Leas in Folkestone are a mid-19th century pair of buildings that stand four storeys high with a basement, and are finished in stucco. They feature a parapet and have a total of two windows. The upper two floors each have three-light sash windows, while the ground and first-floor windows are three-light canted bays. Both of these floors are adorned with cast iron balconettes that display a 'heart and honeysuckle' motif. The doorways are simply designed with round-headed doorcases that are set back in additions on the sides, and there is balustrading above. Numbers 16 to 19 form a group with numbers 22 to 26, with numbers 16 and 17 being buildings of local interest.
