Description

No. 149 Sandgate Road is a mid-19th century building that was originally one half of a pair, but the other half has been demolished. The structure has two storeys and a basement, with a stuccoed exterior and a slate roof. The windows are arranged irregularly: the second floor features one sash window with verticals only, while the first floor has two round-headed sash windows. On the ground floor, there are two sashes with verticals only. The entrance is a round-headed recessed doorcase, which is accessed by a flight of stone steps that have cast iron railings.
