Description

No. 17 Queen Street is a late 18th century building that stands three storeys tall with a basement. It is constructed of painted brick and features a gable end roof covered with pantiles. The building has one window on each floor, with the second-floor window breaking through the eaves. The windows are fitted with flush framed sashes that retain their glazing bars. On the ground floor, there is a panelled door to the right, which is accessed by three stone steps, with a basement door located beneath these steps. The area is enclosed by 19th century spearhead railings. No. 17, along with Nos. 17 to 19 and No. 19A, forms a group.
