Description

This is an early 19th century building of three storeys, located on the west side of Queen Street. Constructed of red brick, it features a moulded wooden frieze along the eaves and a gable end slate roof. The symmetrical facade has five windows, with the central window being blind or non-functional. The windows are sash windows without glazing bars, set within flat stucco arches. A central double door consists of six moulded panels, surmounted by a two-pane rectangular fanlight framed by Doric pilasters. Numbers 17 to 19 (consecutive) and 19A form a group.
