Description
No. 34 Queen Street is a building dating to around 1860, with a possible earlier core. The front is of red brick with stone dressings. It is three stories high, topped by a Mansard slate roof with three dormers and a moulded wooden eaves cornice. Stone sill courses run across the facade. The upper floors contain three windows, set within stone architraves; the central window on the first floor has eared console brackets to the cornice and a segmental pediment. A modern shop front occupies the ground floor. The building is listed for group value, forming a group with other listed buildings on the East Side of Queen Street.
