Description
No. 131 Longwestgate is an early 19th-century building with three storeys, an attic, and a basement. It features a narrow front made of red brick, with a wood frieze and cornice supported by pairs of brackets. The low-pitched gable end slate roof has one flat roof dormer. The building has two windows with intact glazing bars; the left-hand window is four panes wide and both have flat stucco arches. To the right, there is a four-panel door with a rectangular fanlight, set within a doorcase that has panelled strips, console brackets, and a cornice. The area is enclosed by cast iron spearhead railings, leading up steps to the entrance. No. 131 is part of a group with Nos. 119 to 135 (odd).
