Description

Nos 133 and 135 on Longwestgate are a pair of late 18th-century buildings. No 135 has three storeys, while No 133 has two storeys, and both have basements. They are constructed of red brick and feature bands between the storeys, an eaves band, and brackets supporting flat eaves. Each building has one window with recessed sashes that are four panes wide, and the door has four fielded panels with a blind semi-circular fanlight. This door is set in an arched doorcase that has thin console brackets supporting a broken cornice and an open pediment. Additionally, there are 19th-century cast iron railings surrounding the area of No 133. Nos 119 to 135 (odd) form a group.
