Description

LONGWESTGATE 1. 1605 (South Side) No 125 TA 0488 4/28 22.12.53.

II GV

  1. Late C18. 2 storeys and attic, with basement, Red brick with stucco 1st floor string and string over 1st floor windows. Bracketed wood cornice. Gable end pantile roof. 2 window front with entrance to right hand. Recessed sashes, glazing bars intact. Door of 6 fielded panels in arched doorcase of reeded pilasters, narrow console brackets, broken cornice and open pediment with panelled soffit. Semi-circular fanlight. C19 spear head area railings and up steps to door. The cornice and string courses are continued on Nos 127 and 129 qv.

Nos 119 to 135 form a group.
