Description
No. 113 Longwestgate is a building from the early 18th century, specifically later in that century. It is two storeys high with a basement and is faced with stucco. The building features a plinth, a narrow sill course for the first floor, and a cornice adorned with a triglyph frieze. The gable end has a pantile roof.
On the first floor, there are two windows with altered sashes, while the ground floor has one sash window and a door made up of six fielded panels. This door is topped with a rectangular fanlight that has an oval and curved glazing pattern, all set within an architrave surround. The doorcase is designed with panelled strips and long reeded scroll brackets supporting a moulded cornice above.
There are area vans with urn finials leading up a flight of four steps to the entrance. To the right of the main door is a secondary door with six panels. Notably, Nos. 113 and 115 Longwestgate form a group.
