Description
24 Princess Street is a late 18th-century building that stands three storeys tall with an attic, constructed of rendered brick. It features a gable end roof covered with pantiles and a central dormer. Each floor has two windows with recessed sashes, which have later glazing and flat stucco arches above them. The entrance is located on the right side at first floor level and consists of a door with six fielded panels and a rectangular fanlight. This entrance is accessed by a flight of eight stone steps, which are flanked by plain 18th-century railings with urn finials on the standards. The ground floor has a paired sash window. The building is listed for its group value, as it is part of a collection of listed buildings on the North Side from Nos 2 to 30, which together form a cohesive architectural group.
