Description
St Thomas's Vicarage is a mid to late 18th century house located on Longwestgate. It is built of red Dutch brick and has three storeys. The building features flanking rainwater pipes with cast lead heads and a three-window front that retains its original recessed glazing bar sashes, except for a mid-19th century canted bay window on the ground floor. The entrance is on the left side and includes a door with six fielded panels, a semi-circular fanlight, and a doorcase supported by fluted pilasters with console brackets, topped with a broken cornice and an open moulded pediment. The front is enclosed by iron railings that have arrow heads and urn finials. St Thomas's Vicarage is part of a group that includes Nos 119 to 135 (odd).
