Description
Nos 43 and 45 on Princess Street are a pair of two-storey buildings made of red brick, set on a stone plinth. Dated 1712, they feature the initials M over F M. The buildings have a gable end roof covered with pantiles and flanking chimneys. On the façade, there is one window to the right and paired windows to the left, all with flush framed thick glazing bar sashes. The central entrance has paired doors with six fielded panels, framed by a doorcase supported by three Doric pilasters and topped with an entablature. Above the doors is a stone panel displaying the date. These buildings, along with Nos 39 to 47, form a cohesive group.
