Description

Victoria Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. It is timber-framed with a rendered and colour-washed exterior, and has a thatched roof. It is a one-and-a-half-storey, two-bay structure attached to a taller 19th-century building on its right. A 19th-century door is located in the left bay, sheltered by a 20th-century tiled timber porch. To the left of the door is a 19th-century two-light casement window, and to the right is a large 20th-century three-light casement window. A small window, illuminating the staircase, is positioned centrally on the intermediate level, in front of a stack. Eyebrow dormers with two-light casements are situated on either side of the roof. The roof is hipped on the left side, with a central brick stack behind the ridge.
