Description
Drovers Return is a house that dates from the 17th century and was remodelled in 1968. It features a timber-frame construction with brick infill and a thatched roof, along with brick stacks. The building is 1½ storeys high and has three bays, showcasing complete exposed timber framing, which includes blocked first-floor windows in the centre and right bays. A central 20th-century tiled timber porch with a planked door is present. On the left side, there are 20th-century leaded casements, while the right side has a 19th-century casement at the right end. The roof has three large eyebrow dormers with 20th-century leaded casements and is half-hipped with a decorated ridgepiece. There is a ridge stack over the right bay and a small stack on the left hip.
