Description
There are six tomb chests located in St Mary's Churchyard, with a group of four positioned to the north of the chancel. Two of these tomb chests are dedicated to the Bulpett family, dating from 1801 to 1810, and the other two are for the Veck family, dating from 1801 to 1840. To the east of the chancel is an ornate sarcophagus tomb chest for Robert Rodney and his family, which was created in 1826, although the surrounding railings have been removed. Finally, to the south of the tower is a tomb chest for J. T. Villebois, which dates from 1837. All of these tomb chests are made of stone and are from the early 19th century.
