Description
Beech Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. It features a timber frame with brick infill and some rebuilding on the ground floor, topped with a thatched roof. The building has one and a half storeys and is arranged in three bays, with an outshot to the left. There is a blocked doorway between the left and centre bays, while the right bay has a 19th-century three-light casement window. The other bays and the outshot contain two-light casements. The roof has three eyebrow dormers, each with two-light casements. The roof is hipped and sweeps down on the left side, while it is half-hipped on the right. There is an 18th-century stack with two flues located between the right and centre bays.
