Description

Old Post Cottage is a house that was originally a pair of cottages. It features rubble flint panels set in brickwork and has an old plain tiled roof. The building is three bays wide and two stories tall, with 1½ story bays added to each end. The central entrance has a glazed door with a segmental head. On either side of the door, there are 19th-century three-light Gothic casement windows, also with segmental heads. Above the door, there are two more 19th-century three-light Gothic casements. The left bay, which was altered in the 20th century, has four-light casements, while the right bay features two two-light casements and a two-light casement in a hipped dormer. There are gable end stacks on the main house and the right bay.
