Description

Peartree Cottage is a late 18th-century building that was originally a pair of cottages. It is constructed of brick with blue headers and features a thatched roof. The cottage has two storeys and two bays, with a lean-to at each end; the left lean-to is weatherboarded, while the right has brick-planked doors at the inner end. There is a pent-roofed open brick porch on the right side. The cottage has four 18th-century small segmental-headed two-light casement windows. The roof is hipped and has a central ridge stack.
