Description

Snow Hill is a 17th-century cottage located on Common Lane in Southwick and Widley. The building features a timber frame with some parts reclad in late 19th-century materials. The exposed frame includes painted brick infill, while the west side showcases brickwork in stretcher bond. The cottage has a thatched roof, which is half-hipped at the west end and hipped at the east, with low eaves. It includes eyebrow dormers and one gabled dormer with a tiled roof and surround. The structure has one storey and an attic, with four windows fitted with casements. There is a plain doorway set within a 20th-century gabled porch.
