Description

The Old Homestead is a 17th-century cottage located on the north side of Toprow in Wreningham. It features a timber frame that is rendered and weatherboarded, with one gable end made of colour-washed brick. The cottage has a thatched roof and is one storey high with an attic. The windows are modern metal casements with horizontal glazing bars, and there is a 20th-century gabled porch. A single dormer is present, and the gable end has four small windows next to the stack. The upper windows are adorned with rectangular hood moulds, and there are decorative tie-ends with fleur-de-lys terminals.
