Description
Glastonbury Cottage is a house dating from 1694, with later additions from the 18th century. Originally two cottages, it is now a single dwelling. The house is timber-framed, with rendered walls and a thatched roof. It has one storey and an attic. Four casement windows with glazing bars are visible on the front, along with two gabled dormers. A central front door has been added in the 20th century. A stack was originally on the gable end of the 1694 cottage but is now axial. A lean-to addition was built to the side and rear, and a further pile of buildings was added around 1980. The 1694 cottage features an ogee and nicked chamfer stops to the bridging joist.
