Description

Rose Cottage is a house built in the late 18th century, with an early 19th-century extension and additional features from the 19th century. The walls are constructed of brickwork in Flemish bond, with a plinth and slightly cambered rubbed arches that have flat extrados. The eaves are decorated with brick dentils, and the roof is tiled. The symmetrical south front elevation has two storeys and an attic, featuring three windows (the center one is blank) and an added east unit with one window. The windows are casements, and there is a six-panelled door with a mid-19th-century trellis porch.
