Description

No. 34 West Street is a 17th-century cottage that features a timber frame with 18th-century recladding and 20th-century renovations. The west side of the cottage has an exposed frame with brick infill, while the other walls are constructed of brickwork in Flemish Garden Wall bond with blue headers. The east gable is tile-hung. The roof is tiled and half-hipped at the west end, with two hipped dormers that have cills at eaves level. The north front elevation has one storey and an attic, with two casement windows and a plain doorway.
