Description
No. 32 West Street is a 17th century cottage featuring a timber frame with crucks. The building has 19th century cladding and improvements, along with a 20th century rear extension. The front walls are covered in weatherboarding, with some exposed timber frame visible at the rear, and brick infill; the rear block is rendered. It has a hipped thatch roof that slopes down to lower eaves at each end, with eyebrow dormers and 'Tudor' stacks. The front elevation consists of one storey and an attic, with one above three windows that are casements. The entrance features a boarded door set in a plain frame, topped by a simple canopy board supported on curved brackets.
