Description

No. 2 Birmingham Road is a 17th-century cottage located in Coughton. It features a timber frame with brick infill and has an old tile roof, along with brick external and ridge stacks. The building has a two-unit plan and is one storey with an attic, presenting a two-window range. The front includes a mid-19th century plank door with a tile hood, and there are 19th-century wood and iron casements with glazing bars. The rear displays some exposed framing and a 20th-century outshut. Although the interior was not inspected, it is noted to have exposed timber framing.
