Description

This building is a cottage located at 8 Coughton Lane, dating from the 17th century. It features a timber frame with lath and plaster and whitewashed brick infill, topped with a thatched roof and brick ridge stacks. The cottage has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys high with a two-window range. The entrance has been altered, now located in a late 20th-century whitewashed brick addition on the right, and includes a 20th-century plant door and timber porch. The windows are 19th-century casements with glazing bars. There are also single-storey additions at the rear.
