Shown on O.S. map as Alne Close. Cottage. C17 with C20 alterations and additions. Timber framed with lath and plaster and whitewashed brick infill. Thatched roofs; brick ridge stacks. 2-unit plan, much extended. Gable to road. One storey and attic; one-window range. Plank door and thatched open porch. C20 thatched canted bay window. C19 and C20 casements throughout, some with glazing bars, some with leaded lights. Right return side has canted bay window, and casement. Interior not inspected.
