Description
Greystone Cottage is a cottage dating from the 18th century and early 19th century, with 20th-century additions to the rear. The building features regular coursed lias and some brick. The left section has a thatched roof, while the remainder has old tiles, with a brick ridge and external stacks. The cottage has an irregular plan, consisting of one storey and an attic on the left range, and two storeys overall, with a two-window range. The windows are leaded-light casements, with three lights on the ground floor and two lights above. The left section has a casement and a large window in place of a door, and there are no attic windows. The central part has a one-window range, and the ground floor openings are topped with brick segmental arches. On the right, a one-window range projects forward at a lower level, with a 20th-century casement featuring a stone cambered arch. The entrance is located in the right return side, within the 20th-century wing. The interior has not been inspected.
