Description
Coughton Cross Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the early to mid 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a brick dentil cornice and a slate roof with brick end stacks. The building has a double depth plan and stands three storeys high, with a three-window range. The central entrance has a flat six-panelled door with a fanlight, surrounded by a moulded wood frame and a panelled intrados. There is a contemporary trellis porch. The windows are 16-pane sashes with painted reveals, and the flat arches above them are rendered with rusticated voussoirs and key blocks. The central windows are narrower than the others. The left and right return sides and the rear of the farmhouse have casement windows with glazing bars and segmental brick arches. The rear features three adjacent gables.
