Description

Rose Cottage is a 17th-century cottage with a timber frame that has been reclad in the mid-19th century. The frame is exposed with brick nogging, while the west front is made of brickwork. The south side features a boarded outshot. The roof is thatched, half-hipped at the north end and hipped at the south, with an eyebrow dormer. The building has one storey and an attic, with one storey above two windows. The windows are casements with metal frames from both early and later periods. There is a boarded door set in a solid frame.
