Description
Apple Tree Cottage is a 17th-century cottage that features a timber frame with some early 19th-century cladding. It has a T-shaped plan and is one storey high with an attic. The roof is half-hipped at the front on the west side, displaying framing in the gable, while the east end is hipped and there is a catslide at the rear. The eastern half of the cottage has an exposed frame with painted brick infill, while the other walls are made of flint with brick dressings and horizontal bands. The gable includes a frame filled with alternating bands of brick and flint. The cottage has casement windows and a four-panelled door set in a heavy frame.
