Description

Applethatch is a house that was originally three cottages. It dates from the 17th century and is a timber-framed building with 18th-century cladding and a thatched roof. The front, facing south, has two storeys with four windows above five. The roof is hipped on the east side, while the west gable reveals the exposed frame. The walls feature narrow horizontal flint panels, brick quoins, and cambered arches on the ground floor, along with blocked doorways and a plinth. The windows include casements and one Victorian sash. The entrance is located on the east side.
