Description

Old Forge is a house and barn (formerly a forge) that has been converted into a single dwelling, dating from the 18th century. The building features flint and rendered walls, with a combination of tiled and thatched roofing. It stands two storeys high, with a half-hipped roof that includes a catslide on the north side and a hipped tile roof on the eastern half. The structure has brick dressings, both vertical and horizontal, which suggest some alterations have been made over time. The windows are casements, and there is a plain doorway.
