Description

Long Thatch is an 18th-century house and barn, now combined into a single dwelling. It is timber-framed with a later exterior of flint and brick, and a thatched roof. The building is two storeys high, with a further storey and attic, and has three windows across its facade. The roof has two levels, with the eastern half being lower, formerly a barn, and includes eyebrow dormers. The flint walls incorporate brick dressings, including cambered arches and one round-headed doorway. Casement windows are present. The main entrance is sheltered by a thatched canopy. The eastern side of the building has boarding above a garage entrance.
