Description

Milestone located 50 metres south of the Red House, dating from the early 19th century. It is made of painted stone and features a painted cast iron plate. The stone is rectangular with a rounded top, and the front has an attached cast iron plate inscribed with 'Hursley 1, Chandlers Ford 2'. There is an additional inscription on the stone that reads 'To Chas Ford Station'.
