Description

Milestone located in front of Hecton Farmhouse, dating from the early 19th century. It is made of painted stone and features a painted cast iron plate attached to the front. The stone is rectangular with a rounded top, and the cast iron plate has the inscription '67 Miles From LONDON, 4 Miles From WINTON, 8 to SOUTHON'.
