Description

Meadow Cottage is a small house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of colourwashed brick and features an old plain tile roof. The building is two storeys high with a basement and consists of two bays, along with an added lower range at the rear. Access is gained via three steps leading up to a planked door, which is adorned with carved brackets supporting a flat hood. The front of the house has four sixteen-pane sash windows set in segmental headed openings. The eaves are decorated with dentils, and there are end stacks located behind the ridge of the roof.
