Description

Myrtle Cottage is an early 18th-century cottage located in Otterbourne. It is constructed of colourwashed brick with a plain tile roof. The cottage is two storeys and an attic, with three bays. The central doorway has a 19th-century half-glazed door, sheltered by a 19th-century carved hood supported on carved brackets. To either side of the door are two-light casement windows with segmental heads. A string course runs along the first floor. Above the door is a blind opening, and on the first floor are two-light casement windows. The roof has two 2-light gabled dormers with bargeboards and finials. There are gable end stacks.
