Description

Milestone located 1000 metres northeast of Standon Farm, dating from the early 19th century. It is made of painted stone and features a cast iron plate attached to the front. The stone has a square section with a rounded top, and the cast iron plate is inscribed with the distances to Winton (3 miles) and Romsey (8 miles).
