Description
Standon Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse constructed of brick with an old plain tile roof. The building is two stories high and features a three-bay front range, along with a rear range that has three gabled bays. The front of the house has a central 19th-century top-glazed door that is sheltered by a gabled hood supported by brackets. On either side of the door, there are 18th-century 12-pane segmental head sash windows. The first floor has three 18th-century 12-pane sash windows with timber lintels that are set into the eaves cornice. The farmhouse is also notable for its large gable end stacks.
