Description

This is a cottage dating from the 17th and 19th centuries. It has a timber-frame structure with brick infill and some tile hanging on the gables, covered by an old, plain tile roof. The cottage is three bays wide and has a single storey with an attic. A 19th-century planked door is set within a solid segmental head frame, featuring a baffle entry, and is located to the right of the centre. To either side of the door are 19th-century three-light cast iron casements with lozenge panes. The left bay reveals the original timber framing. Two 19th-century dormers with two-light casements featuring similar lozenge panes are located above the left and centre bays. A large ridge chimney with three 19th-century moulded brick octagonal stacks rises from the roof.
