Description

Flint Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. It features a timber-frame construction with brick infill and a plain tile roof, topped by a brick stack at the right-hand end. The cottage is one storey high with an attic, which is illuminated by two 19th-century gabled dormers. The entrance door is located off-centre to the right, positioned between two 19th-century casement windows. The framing consists of square panels arranged in two structural bays. The roof trusses on the left gable include two queen struts and V struts at the apex, along with trenched purlins and straight tension braces.
