Description
The King's Head Public House is an early 19th-century building located on the east side of the A3090 in Hursley. It is constructed of brick and features a slate roof, with tile-hung additions. The structure is two storeys high and built over a cellar, presenting a three-bay front with an additional bay on the right side. The front facade includes six 16-pane sash windows, each with a rubbed brick segmental head, and there is a large sign positioned between the two floors. The added bay on the side contains a round-headed door that is top-lit, and the first floor above it is tile-hung with a flat roof. The building has a hipped roof with wide eaves, and there are symmetrical brick stacks located behind the ridge.
