Description

Milestone located opposite the junction of the A3090 and Pitt Lane in Hursley. This milestone dates from the early 19th century and is made of painted stone with an attached cast-iron plate. The stone is rectangular with a slightly bowed front, and the cast-iron plate on the front is inscribed with 'Winton 2, Romsey 9'.
