Description
Village Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 15th century and 16th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and features colourwashed brick infill, along with thatched and old plain tile roofs. The building is 1½ storeys high and consists of three bays, with a two-bay single-storey service range from the 16th century on the left-hand end, and a later service range located behind it. The front of the house has stable doors in the service bays and a blocked doorway in the right-hand bay. In the central bay, there is a three-light casement window, with a similar window above in an eyebrow dormer. The right end of the service range has a two-light casement window, with a gable that contains a loft door above the centre. The thatched roof of the main block is half-hipped, with a stack positioned over the left bay.
